This game is great

This games pace is perfect.

I dont get to play half the time because the ad that pops up will take me to the App Store, even if I click the X. It would also be nice to be able to rotate buildings.

I desperately want to give this game five stars for fun play with a moderate level of challenge, but I cant. Half the time I cant even get past their huge ad for Virtual City Playground. It appears every time you open the game, and sends you to the iStore unless you can hit a tiny X in the corner- an almost impossible thing on iPod or iPhone. Remove it, and it will get all five stars.

Why would you guys take out sandbox that was an amazing feature if you want me too buy vc playground i already downloaded it and it has to many striking differences but please put sandbox back otherwise its better to not purchase the game at all

The stupid ad for virtual city playground makes it almost impossible to play the game. Other than that, the game is pretty fun.

This game is actually fun and a challenge. Its more like a puzzle and less like a city builder than most. Some issues I have. Are first I want 2 other modes added. First a story mode and second pure city building mode. Other thing I want to see is full iPhone 6 Plus optimization. Im giving this a 2 out of 5 due to being a paid app with a freemium framework. You dont charge $2.99 then give people both ads and iAPs to boot. Either make it completely freemium or completely paid. Dont try and screw people over.

I have to say that I used to love this game. With sandbox it had great replay value and we found ourselves always going back and looking for more games from this publisher. But I have rarely seen such a slimey update as what they did to this game. They used to advertise their sandbox feature. One of the selling points was their sandbox, then they went and just removed it. Maybe they’ll remove the city building next… You cannot remove major features in published games. Now I can’t trust any of their titles. I should have been warned by them forcing you through their ‘ad’ menu everytime you launch the game that they were below par. Even when you have paid. Avoid this game and this publisher, you’ll only end up disappointed.

Ive played this game for quite a while now. I especially liked the Sandbox Mode. Then, they went and removed that from the game, including the full (paid) version. Now, why would a company remove one of the key selling features from a game? Wait! I know! I suppose if I want Sandbox Mode, I have to spend more money to buy one of their other titles. At least, until they remove it from that one too. No thanks. I think Ill spend my hard earned money with a company that hasnt shown their money-grubber true colors. On a side note, whoever placed the city icons on the states might want to think about investing in a map. You have enough of the peoples money. I think you can afford it!

I love the campaign mode. I also loved sandbox mode. It was one of the only city builders where I dont ever have to wait 5 hours or pay a premium currency *coughcoughreal money* to build a decent house. So of course you remove sandbox and redirect us to Virtual City Playground, where we do have to wait those 5 hours.

Would probably rate it a 4 or 5 star if it still had sandbox mode. The replay value falls dramatically with no sandbox

I have been playing VC for several years, and I have almost beaten the game. My favorite part was Sandbox mode. I had hundreds of millions of dollars in the New York level. Why would you take this feature away from an app we all paid good money for? To make us by VC Playground? Nice try. I downloaded it, and, while similar, it has some striking, negative differences. Like TIMERS. Ugh. I want sandbox mode back. With Sandbox mode included: Definitely would recommend to a friend. 5 STARS. Without Sandbox mode: Definitely would NOT recommend to a friend. 2 STARS. VERDICT: Do not buy this app until Sandbox mode is re-included. TL; DR Wait for Sandbox mode to come back.

The absolute best part of this game was the sandbox mode. You would play the campaign to unlock certain buildings and then use those building in your sandbox. Now all there is is a very linear campaign where you do the same thing every time. What company takes out a major part of the game? Itd be like if Call of Duty took out weapons or if angry birds took out the birds or pigs.

They removed the sandbox feature and this was a very popular feature and selling point of the game. Gave you something to look forward too when completing missions. I paid the full price for this game.

I recently rated this game 4 stars and I guess (in all fairness) it is UNTIL you reach the last project (which comes pretty fast) after you finish it THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO DO!!!!!!! Might as well delete it and find something else to do with your time!!!!! It is really sad because it has so much potential!!!!! All in all i wish they had a negative side to the star rating i would give it -4 stars!!!!!

I have reset my set and lost game from mobile. Now i have reinstalled it from my itunes/laptop. I have full version of the game. Despite i have last stats saved in my gamecenter, i am still have to play the game from start. Please guide me how to start the game as per game centre stats i.e my old record

You took away the best part of the game.

Waste of money and time.

I was addicted to this game because of the sandbox mode. I loved building on my own terms and making mucho money. Now I cant do that. Dissappointed man. Bring back sandbox, and I may consider rating this 5 stars.
